Warning! These 5 Snacks are Made Out of Petroleum-Based, Cancer-Causing Chemicals!

You child is ingesting estrogen without realizing it from these everyday snacks. Petroleum-based products are classified as xenoestrogens, even the refined varieties.

The snack foods that are marketed for children can have anything from cancer causing artificial coloring to the unbelievable, petroleum products! ! Petroleum is the same ingredient that is used to make up oil and gas.

Commonly used food dyes, such as Yellow 5, and Red 40 are made from petroleum and pose serious health problems. The Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that ingestion is typically under the “concern threshold.”

Those health problems can include hyperactivity in children, cancer (in animal studies), and allergic reactions. Artificial food coloring has been linked to bed-wetting, ear infections, headaches, hypersensitivity, obesity, asthma, diabetes, eczema, mood swings, hyperactivity, sleep disturbances, increased risky behavior,  ADD/ADHD, chromosomal damage, hives, and possibly hypoglycemia.

In fact, these substances are so toxic that the British government and European Union have ended the use of dyes throughout Europe.

Top 5 Popular Children’s Snacks Made with Cancer Causing Petroleum Products

1. Pop tarts

The most important supplement that everyone must take daily

These toaster pastries were first introduced in 1964. The Frosted Strawberry flavor has corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose and sugar within the first 6 ingredients! These are all forms of harmful sugar.

The other alarming ingredients are TBHQ which comes from petroleum and is related to butane, partially hydrogenated soybean oil that causes cellular dysfunction, and cancer causing artificial colors.

2. Fruit snacks

These come in so many “fruit” flavors and characters they maybe hard to resist, until you realize they are made mostly is artificial additives and colors.

Red 3 is a commonly used food coloring, also known as E127 or Erythrosine, a petroleum product.

3. M&M’s

They are fun colorful chocolate candies that melt in your mouth and not in your hands…

These colors are artificial and are harmful when ingested. The colors utilized are, Blue #2: Is a petroleum based product that increases hyperactivity in children, increases brain tumors in lab rats and other abnormal cell development.

Blue #1: Produces malignant tumors. Red #40: Damages DNA. Yellow #6: Can cause cancer and Yellow #5: All of these artificial colors are made from petroleum and can cause, in addition, allergic reactions, hyperactivity, and cancer.

4. Cheetos.

Those orange, cheesy snacks. The artificial color that creates the “cheese” color is made from Yellow 6, which we know is derived from petroleum.

As is the “cheese” flavoring, including, methyl benzoate and ethyl methylphenidate.

5. Teddy grams

They have been around since 1988 and are available in 5 different flavors. These tiny bears are a great size for even small fingers but they are laced with the dreaded TBHQ.

TBHQ can be toxic and also cause nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ear, delirium and collapse. It is shown to cause stomach cancer in lab rats, fragment DNA and cause damage to humane lung and umbilical cells.

In children it can cause anxiety, restlessness, and intensify the symptoms of ADHD.

There are many quick and easy healthy snacks to grab and go. Organic fruit, pre portioned bags of organic carrots and celery and when I have a few minutes I make a large batch of granola bars with chia and flax seeds.

These bars freeze well, can be made with fruit or nuts, are filling and nutritious.

Turns out E-Cigarettes Cause a Horrible Incurable Disease Called “Popcorn Lung”

The latest trend in smoking has been E-cigarettes. They have been promoted as a much safer alternative to smoking regular cigarettes.

But of course, there’s the old saying that starts out, if it’s too good to be true…It turns out the Harvard School of Public Health decided to do a study on E-cigarettes and the results are startling.

It looks as if they may not pose the traditional cigarette threat, but they pose a different one altogether.

Diacetyl is a flavoring chemical used in E-cigs which are linked to cases of severe respiratory disease, most notably the incurable condition called “Popcorn Lung.”

This condition was first noticed in workers in microwave popcorn processing facilities who inhaled the artificial butter flavoring. The disease is totally debilitating and irreversible.

It’s a respiratory disease which causes scarring in tiny air sacs in the lungs. This leads to shortness of breath and excessive coughing.

“The amount of diacetyl in 39 of the e-cigs exceeded the amount that was able to be detected by the laboratory.

Diacetyl and other related flavoring chemicals are used in many other flavors beyond butter-flavored popcorn, including fruit flavors, alcohol flavors, and candy flavored e-cigarettes.”

Allan also noted how scary these findings are as the flavor names of these e-cigs include cotton candy, cupcake, and other flavors which would clearly be attractive to young people.

But that’s not all. Due to the fact that e-cigs are so new, it wouldn’t be a stretch to figure that even more risks will pop up in the near future. David Christiani, Elkan Blout Professor of Environmental Genetics, was the co-author of the study and said the following:

“Since most of the health concerns about e-cigarettes have focused on nicotine, there is still much we do not know about e-cigarettes. In addition to containing varying levels of the addictive substance nicotine, they also contain other cancer-causing chemicals, such as formaldehyde, and as our study shows, flavoring chemicals that can cause lung damage.”

It looks like the fruity-flavored “safe” alternative to traditional smoking, may not be all that after all, and it probably is best to cease any e-cig habits until further research is done on this emerging smoking trend.

Here’s a video where e-cigs led to devastating results for one man:

Actor Mark Ruffalo Calls Out Monsanto: “You Are Poisoning People”

Mark Ruffalo has called out Monsanto on their practices.

The actor told Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant exactly what he thought of his company when the two met in a movie green room.

Monsanto have been openly criticized by many high profile figures and celebrity activists. Just last month, Serj Tankian took to his Facebook page to warn Armenians of accepting Monsanto into their country.

Ruffalo and Grant were sharing the same green room for the movie ‘Spotlight’ when Ruffalo seized the opportunity to tell Grant what he thought about his company and their morals.

Ruffalo said his outburst was encouraged by watch Grant being interviewed and give “slippery non-answer[s] to every question he was asked.”

He said he felt he was watching a “guy who is responsible for so much misery and sickness throughout the world slime his way through his interview.

When he finally got his chance to address Grant he said:

“You are wrong. You are engaged in monopolizing food. You are poisoning people. You are killing small farms. You are killing bees. What you are doing is dead wrong.”

Grant retorted:

Well, what I think we are doing is good.”

Since the exchange, Ruffalo has written a statement published by Ecowatch, in which he goes into further detail about his opinion on Monsanto.

He writes:

Hugh, it’s not your messaging that makes you and your company horrible. It’s the horrible stuff you guys do that makes you and your company horrible.

People don’t walk around making horrible stories up about good companies because they got nothing else better to do with their time.

People like you and your company are horrible because … you are horrible.

No matter how much jumping around you do on morning shows (where no one can really nail you down for the horrible stuff you do), you will still always be horrible and people will always greet you the way I did, when you go around trying to cover up the fact that you are horrible,”
