This summer provided a valuable opportunity for Prince William and Kate Middleton to spend quality time together as the royal family gathered in Scotland at Balmoral. The peaceful surroundings allowed them to enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting and appreciating nature. However, with September approaching, Prince William’s upcoming work engagements are coming into focus.
On August 22, Kensington Palace revealed that the Prince of Wales is scheduled to visit the Saatchi Gallery in London on September 5. His visit will highlight the Homelessness: Reframed exhibition, a project closely connected to his Homewards initiative.
Launched in June 2023 through the Royal Foundation, the Homewards program aims to tackle homelessness across the UK. During the event, Prince William will have the chance to meet with the artists whose work is featured in the exhibit, as well as the individuals whose experiences have inspired the artwork. Additionally, he will engage with British photographer Rankin, who contributed to the exhibit, and spend time with children from the Creative Kids charity.
This gallery event marks Prince William’s first public appearance since attending the UEFA European Championship final in Berlin, Germany, on July 14, where he was seen enjoying the match with Prince George. As August rolled in, William and Kate took their children to Balmoral, offering a chance for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
A close friend of the royal family shared with The Daily Beast that Balmoral offers a blend of tradition and leisure, describing it as a refined Victorian hunting lodge where activities like shooting and fishing are central to the experience. This visit also holds significance for Kate and William, who are keen to immerse their children in the traditions of the Glorious Twelfth, the beginning of the shooting season, which remains a key objective for the family this year.
